Welcome to the website of the United Motorcycle Council of New South Wales, a peak group representing 18 of the state's motorcycle clubs.
The UMC was formed to promote a sociably responsible motorcycle culture and create a platform to raise and debate issues affecting motorcycle riders and motorcycle clubs.
We hope this website will also help debunk some of the hoaxes, untruths and myths that are spread about clubs and our members.
Recently, Nicholas Cowdery, director of public prosecutions, NSW delivered a speech for the NSW Council for Civil Liberties at Parliament House. The speech addressed the topic, "prosecutors do care about human rights - really!" You can find a copy of Mr. Cowdery's speech here.
